Authentic Beauty Concept launched the first vegan 鈥淩efill Bar鈥� on the European market 鈥� a refill system that helps to create a circular economy and offers many benefits for the environment, customers and salons. The brand uses carefully selected, vegan formula颅tions that are free of silicones, sulfates, parabens, artificial colors and mineral oils, combining the best of nature and research without compromising performance. 

Got2b has partnered with the global and digital-first youth charity Ditch the Label 鈥�(DTL) to support them in combating online hate and cyberbullying. The collaboration kickstarted in 2021 with a series of virtual live talks and a digital toolkit. The DTL Harmful Content Removal Tool was launched to prevent harmful behavior right at its source. Got2b and DTL empower partners and consumers to call out online bullying whenever they see it.

Schauma shampoos and conditioners were relaunched in 2022. The PE bottle bodies now consist of 50 percent recycled plastic and the PET bottle bodies consist of 98-100 percent recycled plastic. The packaging also has a reduced weight, and the caps are made from 25 percent recycled plastic.

The bottle bodies of our fabric finisher Vernel consist of 100 percent recycled plastic 鈥�(PET) and are recyclable, even if the sleeve is not removed from the bottle. Reason why: the EcoFloat technology, developed in close cooperation with CCL Label GmbH. If the empty bottle reaches the recycling facility, the material will be shredded 鈥� and separates itself: the former bottle body sinks as heavy PET flakes to the bottom of the water-filled basin, while the shredded low density EcoFloat material of the sleeve will float to the surface of the water.

Together with the development organization Solidaridad we support smallholders in the palm oil and palm kernel oil sector in promoting climate-smart agricultural practices. We focus on trainings on climate-friendly agriculture, along with exerting an influence on policy and involving stakeholders. We have partnered with Solidaridad in Colombia, Ghana, Honduras, Indonesia, Mexico, Nicaragua and Nigeria.

We decided to invest into the cooperation with BASF and Shell to increase the amount of renewable raw materials for the manufacture of ingredients and thus contribute to CO₂ footprint reduction. Compared to conventional ingredients, the renewable-based ingredients will come with a lower CO₂ footprint. The current solution that is used to determine the amount of fossil and renewable sources in the production process is called 鈥渂iomass balance approach鈥�.

The aim is to co-design an approach that is brand-agnostic, and which provides consumers with clear, transparent and comparable environmental impact information, based on a common science-based methodology. The purpose: enable consumers to make sustainable choices.
